Dr. Caroline Dilworth is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and Owner of Thrive Integrative Wellness Coaching. She is a graduate of the Integrative Health Coaching Professional Training program at Duke Integrative Medicine. Her deep understanding of health and well-being comes from over fifteen years of experience in public health, holding a PhD in Epidemiology from UNC Chapel Hill and a masters degree in public health from Emory University. Caroline’s love for people and helping them live healthy lives makes her an engaging and compassionate coach.

As a coach, she collaborates with clients to identify a clear vision of complete, holistic wellness and accompanies them through a personalized plan to reach their wellness goals. Her warm and compassionate nature helps her connect with clients in a nonjudgmental and productive way. She thrives on helping others live vibrantly, and seeing others fulfilled.

Her experience has given her a profound understanding of health. As an Epidemiologist and previous Program Director at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Caroline oversaw numerous research programs on a variety of health issues, from cancer to cardiovascular disease to pregnancy health. Her scientific and evidence-based approach to key lifestyle factors helps promote health and protect against disease. In addition, Caroline is uniquely qualified to connect clients with evidence-based resources for positive health changes.
Caroline is passionate about supporting other mothers.
As a fellow mom, Caroline understands the challenges of balancing family, work, and one’s own personal well being firsthand. After the birth of her son, Caroline experienced postpartum depression and anxiety. Her journey to finding balance and peace with motherhood fuels Caroline's passion to help other moms do the same. In addition to providing integrative health coaching to moms, Caroline is a certified Body Back Instructor for Fit4mom Chapel Hill. She is a Board member, peer support group facilitator and teaches postpartum planning classes as a volunteer with Postpartum Education and Support (PES), NC. She is also a member of Postpartum Support International (PSI) and has completed the Perinatal Mental Health PSI certificate training.
